March is International #Myeloma Awareness Month

 In News

March is International Myeloma Awareness Month; a chance to highlight this relatively rare and currently incurable blood cancer. Around 18,000 Australians are currently living with this blood cancer.

The ALLG’s Myeloma Scientific Working Party trials new promising drugs to improve treatment strategies for patients with multiple myeloma and AL amyloidosis.

That’s what we do every day at the ALLG, clinical trials in blood cancer for better treatments, better lives, aiming for a cure.

In addition, our leadership role on the National Blood Cancer Taskforce is setting the national standard of high-quality cancer care for all Australians impacted by blood cancers no matter where they live, or access treatment.

Everyone can help end blood cancer sooner by supporting the ALLG’s research today. https://www.allg.org.au/support-us/make-a-donation/
